As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a HV/LV Systems Lead - Battery & Charging Systems to head up the Electrical Engineering team. This senior role blends technical leadership with hands-on delivery, focusing on the development of advanced electrification technologies for the wider marine market. The HV/LV Systems Lead - Battery & Charging Systems will: Lead and grow a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team working on HV and LV systems. Act as the technical authority on electrical architecture, power distribution, safety, and control integration. Oversee the development of schematics, harnessing, component selection, and system integration. Collaborate with software and systems teams to support algorithm development for diagnostics and control. Apply systems engineering principles to ensure traceability, validation, and integration of electrical functions. Provide technical leadership across key projects, ensuring robust design and delivery aligned with requirements. The HV/LV Systems Lead - Battery & Charging Systems will have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. At least 7 years' experience in electrification projects, ideally within automotive, industrial, or energy sectors. Proven experience leading electrical engineering teams or acting as a technical lead. Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution, EMC, grounding, and isolation techniques. Familiarity with systems engineering processes and tools such as Vector, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, or Simulink. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a pragmatic and delivery-focused mindset.
