M Large Tree Services Ltd are now into their 6th decade in business making us one of the longest established and most experienced tree care companies in the UK and Ireland.
The Company is renowned for high quality work using the latest practices and equipment and has an envious reputation built up over many years.
We have always led the way with innovation including the introduction of wood chippers and stump grinders into Ireland over forty years ago. Today we have our own fleet of cranes, tree shears, grapple saws, chippers and spider lifts.
Most of our work is for private clients and organisations demanding quality work carried out by professionals. We have little involvement with utility work.
We also carry out tree surveys and produce reports on the tree population throughout N Ireland. Since 1977 most of this work has been for Central and local Government surveying woodland sites and individual trees for Tree Protection Orders (TPO's) Private and commercial clients draw on our experience and knowledge to assist them with legal and insurance matters.
Our staff turnover is very low with most having ten years' service and some up to forty.
Due to ever increasing workload we require a suitable person to join our expanding Arboricultural Team.
Reporting to our Tree Care Manager the successful applicant will support our tree surgery teams and assist with managing the day to day running of our Arboricultural department. This will also include meeting clients, assessing their tree management requirements and providing advice.
As with all business Artificial Intelligence (AI) is creeping in so applicants must be computer literate and confidant in their ability to make use of the latest technology to produce risk assessments and method statements as well as management reports etc.
As a management post it will involve both office based and on site tasks.
Applicants should have a background in tree surgery or forestry and a desire to advance into management.
As well as manual tree surgery/forestry qualifications applicants should have achieved higher level qualifications in tree or forest management or be able to show experience gained in this field.
