Description
Anchored to the central comms function, this business partner role delivers our Digital Transformation change communications and with opportunity in the longer term oversee and coordinate programme comms leads who provide change comms advice and implementation for Heathrow.
Responsibilities
Working with the programme team, business change leads and your stakeholders to develop a communication approach and plan for the change initiatives which you are responsible for delivering.
Align your communication approach and plan with the overall programme communication strategy (and in turn our Heathrow strategy) so we provide a cohesive narrative for our people that they want to be part of and feels relevant.
Develop positive, supportive stakeholder relationships that enables and empowers our stakeholders to feel confident leading the change in their areas.
Manage the delivery of the communication plan for your owned initiatives, tailoring communication strategies to different audiences within Heathrow and/or Team Heathrow.
Maximise opportunities to create dialogue with colleagues and wider Team Heathrow - working with stakeholders to adapt approach, messaging and communications based on feedback.
Actively understand your key audiences for digital initiatives by spending time with them in the operation, using creative approaches (aligned with Heathrow Comms guidelines) that deliver results.
Qualifications
Proven business partner comms experience (8 years plus) with at least 4-5 years implementing successful change communication strategies within a matrixed organisation.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with an ability to flex your style to work with multiple audience groups – from senior stakeholder to front-line colleagues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using multiple communication tools and platforms (Viva Engage, Sharepoint etc).
Ability to think creatively and strategically and apply it to deliver successful communication strategies.
Leadership and influence skills with a strong focus on building consensus and collaboration
