A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join us on a brand new contract in Oxford. This opportunity involves a Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 working pattern.

Purpose:
To carry out PPM, reactive, and breakdown works on all electrical and mechanical systems within the site. Engineers must demonstrate relevant knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators, LV systems, including fault-finding using graphical information and current alarm data.
Operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with minimal disruptions, in a cost-effective manner. Manage reactive work processes to ensure requests are responded to and closed out per procedures. Develop management tools to report on asset and building performance and recommend improvements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Ensure routine PPM is performed on all electrical and mechanical plant according to site schedules and asset lists.
* Complete reactive tasks promptly and proactively identify areas for improvement, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
* Swiftly address plant faults and defects to maintain operational order.
* Maintain available spares for maintenance and reactive works, including inventory management and estimated repair times.
* Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance system (e.g., Concept, Smart Hub) updated, ensuring all tickets are accurately closed.
* Complete all paperwork related to reactive and breakdown works promptly and pass it to the contract administrator.
* Prepare and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
* Keep plant rooms under your responsibility locked, clean, and tidy at all times.
Education and Training:
* Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.
* Hold 18th Edition BS7671 certification (City and Guilds).
