About the Role
As a Technology Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in equipping students with practical skills in areas such as design, product creation, and problem-solving. You will deliver engaging lessons across school’s Key Stages, supporting students’ creativity and confidence while ensuring progress is closely monitored and celebrated.
Key Responsibilities of a Technology Teacher
* Deliver high-quality Technology lessons across school’s Key Stages.
* Plan and prepare engaging resources that encourage practical and theoretical learning.
* Inspire students to explore creativity, innovation, and design.
* Monitor, assess, and support student progress effectively.
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high teaching standards.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification in Technology or a related subject.
* Previous teaching experience in UK schools is essential.
* A background in Science, Engineering or Technology is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Technology and design-related disciplines.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
