Role: AI Developer

What we’re looking for
We’re building Wubbleyou Cognition: an internal AI product that takes the boring things that our people does, and automates it with AI so they can focus on higher value things. For example, too much knowledge is siloed across docs/transcripts, and too much “documentation work” is done manually. Cognition is how we fix that.
This matters for our team and our clients. Our ideal customers care about proof, correctness, and systems they can trust — because getting it wrong has consequences. They care that our focus is on creating the most value for them.
Examples of problems we are solving:
* We score well on public sector tenders, but transforming responses for new tenders is time consuming – we already know the answers. We can now draft answers fast for a skilled person to carry forward
* Writing briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation – they all tend to be derived from the same place – conversations. We use transcripts to act as source material, and transform them into lots of other useful documents
We strongly believe that by building AI Lego bricks that do lots of small bits very well, we empower our people. The objective is not to automate an entire role, but to automate steps 2-9 of some parts of their role, so they can focus on the valuable bits.
Ideally, you’re available for a 4 month contract, with the ability to extend or employ beyond this if it made sense to all involved - I’m a big believer in turning things into long term opportunities and partnerships.
Ideally, you are curious about AI, and you’re using it in your workflows already. Things like n8n, Claude Code, etc.

💡 AI is moving rapidly and if we don’t move fast enough, we will be behind, we need a dedicated person focussing on AI, working as a force multiplier.
💡 We build products used by millions of people, and create our clients multi-million-pound revenue streams - the decisions we make affect millions of people - we need someone building AI tools to accelerate this process for us and clients.
💡 We want to build long term AI assets into the business, so that every hour spent on building AI components levels up every future project we build.

Tools you will use and will be trained with (not exhaustive)
🔨 Claude Code: This is how we empower you to create components, fast. It allows you to focus on crafting experience, used correctly it accelerates you
🔨 ClickUp: To keep track of workload, and contribute to our shared understanding of where we are on a project, e.g. the user stories you’ve created designs for.
🔨 Github: To collaborate on projects, pull test environments, and follow changes made to the platforms, commit your frontend work and run automated tests
🔨 n8n: For building workflows that aren’t suited for code
🔨 AI LLM Providers: Open AI, Anthropic, Gemini etc
🔨 RAG: Using Cloudflare
🔨 Agentic Libraries: Used to bring together agents, tools and knowledge, to achieve bigger tasks
What you’ll be doing
* You will be turning internal opportunities and challenges, into tangible solutions via our internal AI product - Wubbleyou Cognition.
* Your objective is to take internal problems, and build AI agents and workflows to solve these problems. This will start with project documentation.
* Reporting to our Lead Developer (who is also a strong designer/full-stack developer), and collaborating to create great products
* Working with our team to strengthen AI adoption; turn complexity into clarity.
* Building internal libraries we may use across any project, using Laravel and Vue
What you’ll bring
You need to be able to automate tasks by:
* Building AI agents
* Building a RAG based document store in Cloudflare to make our documentation AI Accessible
* Building user friendly workflows so our team members are able to really easily interact with AI agents
* Strong grasp of AI, and simplifying sometimes difficult concepts
* Asset focused mindset: you care about coherent patterns and scalable component libraries, building assets is a core principle in our development team
* Ability to communicate decisions clearly, receive feedback, and iterate.
Nice to have
* Experience building for B2B, SaaS, or complex multirole platforms.
* Frontend experience with Vue 3/Pinia/Vite; Tailwind CSS
* Experience with AI agents
