IT Technical Support Administrator
Based in Wells
£30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Full-time, onsite
We're looking for an
IT Technical Support Administrator
to join a small, hands-on IT team. This role is all about variety – from 1st and 2nd line support to project work and cloud migration – with the opportunity to step into 3rd line and more advanced projects as you grow.
What you'll be doing
* Day-to-day IT support across multiple sites (head office, factories, farms, and satellite locations)
* Supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business systems
* Administering Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra (Azure AD), Teams & Teams Telephony
* Active Directory, Group Policy and hybrid infrastructure management
* Networking (switches, cabling, firewalls, connectivity monitoring)
* Supporting production-critical systems including CCTV, access control, scanning/weighing
* Getting involved in IT projects, upgrades, and security initiatives
What we're looking for
* Experience in
1st/2nd line support
(with some exposure to 3rd line an advantage)
* Solid knowledge of Windows OS, AD/Group Policy, Microsoft 365 & cloud technologies
* Hands-on with hardware, builds, imaging and lifecycle support
* Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Meraki or similar)
* Bonus points for SQL, PowerShell, VMware/Hyper-V, ERP (Business Central), Zebra devices, or Power BI
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally (role covers 3 main sites + farms)
Why join?
This is an onsite role in a busy, growing business where IT underpins everything. You'll be part of a
small but supportive team
where everyone gets involved, and you'll have the chance to broaden your skills across infrastructure, cloud, and projects. Security is a big focus too – experience with Cyber Essentials or similar is highly valued.
If you like variety, want to stay hands-on, and are ready to help modernise systems while keeping the lights on, we'd love to hear from you.
