Area Manager
We are seeking a compassionate, commercially aware, and highly motivated Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of adult social care services across North London. What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Providing operational leadership across multiple care services within your region
- Driving excellence in quality, governance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
- Supporting and developing Registered Managers to achieve high‑performing, sustainable services
- Monitoring KPIs, occupancy levels, staffing performance, and financial targets
- Embedding person‑centred approaches that promote dignity, independence, and positive outcomes
- Leading service improvement initiatives and action plans where required
- Building positive relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, families, and stakeholders
- Supporting recruitment, retention, succession planning, and workforce development strategies
- Ensuring services consistently meet and exceed regulatory and organisational standards
- Championing a culture of compassion, accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or Multi‑Site Manager within the care sector
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, quality standards, and adult social care legislation
- Proven experience leading and developing Registered Managers and operational teams
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and service performance
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and relationship‑building skills
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and supporting vulnerable individuals
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
