3D Creative / CAD Designer - MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN EVENTS OR CREATIVE AGENCY

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative 3D Creative / CAD Designer to join our dynamic Creative Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed digital models and technical drawings using specialized software tools. This role requires close collaboration with engineers, architects, product designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts, ideas, and specifications into digital designs that meet project requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design Development: Create 3D models and CAD drawings based on project requirements, sketches, specifications, and technical guidelines. Develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings to effectively communicate design intent.
* Product/Prototype Design: Design and develop digital models and technical drawings for products, prototypes, and components using CAD software, ensuring designs meet functional, performance, and aesthetic standards.
* Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to integrate design features, components, and systems into overall product or project designs. Address engineering constraints and design optimization considerations.
* Project Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of design deliverables with project timelines, budgets, and objectives. Participate in design reviews, meetings, and presentations.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and reviews of 3D models and CAD drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards, regulations, and specifications. Resolve design issues promptly.
* Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design files, technical drawings, specifications, and project records. Generate reports and progress updates for stakeholders.
* Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software tools and stay updated on the latest features, techniques, and best practices for 3D modeling and CAD design.
* Event Support: Attend events to ensure smooth and effective handover pre-event.
* Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in 3D modeling, CAD design, and related fields. Seek opportunities for professional development.
Financial Responsibilities:
* Awareness of cost and design to budget.
* Support financial tasks on events such as raising POs and supplier management.
* Ensure daily completion of timesheets.
Internal Requirements:
* Provide support on pitch and concept presentations.
* Adhere to client brand guidelines in design work.
* Follow company policies, procedures, and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
Industry Knowledge:
* Familiarity with print processes and up-to-date design trends.
* Compliance with print and digital licensing assets.
* Proficiency in Cinema 4D and InDesign.
* Experience running and owning client meetings, calls, and internal work.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Advertising and Design.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Proficiency in both PC and Mac applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, Premier, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, and Trello.
* Experience creating final artwork projects.
* Desirable: Experience in WordPress, Squarespace, and Aventri.

Other Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Full driving licence (desirable but not essential).
