Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join a well-established mechanical contractor based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who is located close to Maidstone and is happy to travel to London for project work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of commercial installation projects across London and surrounding areas, while being based out of the Maidstone office. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial plumbing experience who enjoys working on large-scale projects and delivering high-quality installations.
Projects include commercial offices, residential developments, plant rooms, healthcare facilities, and large refurbishment/fit-out works.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of commercial plumbing systems on new build and refurbishment projectsWorking on hot and cold-water systemsInstallation of above-ground drainage systemsPipe fitting and commercial mechanical installationsPlant room installation and maintenance workInstalling heating systems and associated pipeworkWorking on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projectsReading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsTesting completed systems to ensure quality and complianceWorking closely with site teams to ensure projects are completed efficientlyFollowing all health and safety regulations on-siteRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in commercial plumbingStrong installation experience within commercial environmentsExperience working on plant rooms, heating systems, and commercial pipeworkAbility to read technical drawingsNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (preferred)CSCS xsngvjr Card requiredFull UK driving licence requiredMust be located within a commutable distance to MaidstoneMust be comfortable travelling to London for projectsPackage & BenefitsSalary up to £50,000 per annum DOECompany van includedFuel cardOvertime opportunitiesCompany pensionOngoing training and developmentLong-term career progressionPermanent role with stable workloadWorking Hours
