Guildmore is seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards across our sites. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure compliance, promote safe working practices, and support all employees and contractors in achieving the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards. * Produce weekly site advisory safety reports and carry out monthly safety audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement. * Support the site induction process by providing essential health, safety, and environmental information to new employees and contractors. * Advise managers and site teams on health and safety matters, ensuring best practice and adherence to relevant regulations. * Deliver health and safety training sessions tailored to staff needs. * Monitor and advise on high-risk activities, reviewing risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working conditions. * Respond promptly to health and safety incidents, conducting investigations and implementing corrective measures. * Hold regular meetings with site teams and subcontractors to discuss safety issues and carry out inspections.
