Our client is currently seeking a skilled Civil Site Supervisor to join their team within the Transmission and Distribution (T & D) sector on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee civil site operations and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing and managing all on-site civil activities with adherence to industry standards
* Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
* Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and site personnel
* Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Interfacing with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide regular progress updates
* Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and reports
* Implementing and enforcing site safety procedures and protocols
* Resolving any on-site issues and addressing setbacks promptly
Job Requirements:
* Experience as a Site Supervisor within the Civil sector
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and site management
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Proficiency in maintaining safety standards and regulations
* Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field
