Responsibilities
Reporting into the Manchester office Secretarial Services Manager, you will work closely with the Legal Secretaries in our Real Estate practice group, providing secretarial and administrative support to the Partners and Associates. This role is ideal for an experienced Secretary supporting at partner level in a national or global law firm.
You will conduct client inceptions and billing, and have telephone and email contact with clients.
You will take ownership of complex billing tasks and client reporting, client and matter inceptions (including understanding KYC requirements), extensive diary management, and international travel arrangements. In addition, you will manage expenses, arrange travel, file and archive documents, and perform other general tasks typical of a busy law firm.
You must maintain a positive and professional approach at all times.

You have confidence in communicating warmly and professionally with individuals at all levels, including clients of the firm, and possess superb interpersonal skills.
You have good knowledge of all Microsoft packages, strong keyboard skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
You possess a minimum of two years’ experience working in a professional service firm.
