Job Summary
Symphony Healthcare Services offers an enthusiastic GP role in Burnham‑on‑Sea. Multiple vacancies are available, up to 8 sessions, with an attractive remuneration package. A special interest in a particular healthcare area is an advantage, but a willingness to share the load and work with our dedicated team is a must. Symphony supports newly qualified GPs with a GP Mentorship Scheme and the NHS GP Fellowship Scheme.
Main Duties
As a Symphony GP you will undertake all the clinical duties associated with a GP working in primary care. Opportunities range from salaried to employed level GP posts, depending on experience and responsibility. GPs are paid as Employees, reducing risk and allowing focus on patient care. All roles contribute to QOF, QI, training and research projects, providing variety. An annual appraisal encourages career development and progression, supporting GPs who wish to extend their role or have specialist skills.

Job Responsibilities
Main GP duties include clinical tasks, QOF, training, research and, where applicable, specialist engagement. GPs may progress from salaried to employed or consultant roles, with clearly defined job plans and responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications
* A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003, not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983. Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of completion of training CCT), currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register. Accredited as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
