Job Advert: Site Welder / Fabricator (MIG & TIG)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Site Welder / Fabricator with strong experience in MIG and TIG welding. This role involves on‐site fabrication, installation, repairs, and general welding work across a variety of industrial, commercial, and construction environments.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, able to interpret drawings, and capable of producing clean, high‐quality welds with a focus on safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
Carry out on‐site fabrication and installation work
Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components
Complete repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks
Ensure safe working practices at all times
Work collaboratively with site teams, contractors, and supervisors
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
Strong fabrication skills and competent use of workshop tools
Ability to work on‐site and manage work independently
Experience with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
Ability to problem‐solve and adapt to on‐site challenges
Understanding of health and safety procedures
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
CSCS card (advantage but not essential)
