The Role
This role acts as a critical strategic enabler with the Europe & Africa Sales Support organisation, focused on driving efficiency, standardization, and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will lead strategic sales projects to identify and implement best practices while unlocking the data value within ONE Force (Sales Cloud). Furthermore, this position serves as the regional Sales Business Owner for in-house efficiency projects.
The Key Areas of Responsibilities will include:
1. Strategic Project Leader: Take full ownership and autonomously lead a diverse portfolio of complex, cross functional Sales projects from inception to successful completion. Define project scope, objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliverables in collaboration with executive sponsors. Utilize robust project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery and realization of intended business benefits.
2. Data-Driven Insights: Transform data captured in ONE Force into accessible, actionable business intelligence for the Sales team and other internal stakeholders. Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and underlying drivers affecting sales performance
3. Coordination and Stakeholder Management: Serve as a central point of contact for Sales related issues. Efficiently coordinate the resolution of issues by liaising with sales heads, country heads, and facilitate clear, consistent, and effective communication across various departments at a regional and global level
4. Process standardisation and best practice: Identify opportunities for standardisation and best practices across regional sales processes in collaboration with key stakeholders, to enhance sales effectiveness, and ensure continuous process improvement.
5. Business Ownership: Act as regional Sales business owner for CHORUS. Represent the needs, requirements, and feedback of the EUA sales community
6. Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous process improvement, regularly reviewing existing practices against industry standards and organizational needs.
The Requirements
7. Good understanding of the Liner Shipping business: Previous experience of working in Sales or Trade is essential as well as a strong background as a Business Analyst, ideally with a senior focus.
8. Analytical skills: Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to present facts and arguments based on data.
9. Communication & Negotiation Skills: A natural communicator and negotiator who can effectively engage, persuade and influence stakeholders at all levels.
