This 3-year apprenticeship (Level 5) offers you unparalleled training within a fast-paced consumer goods company, specifically in our Research & Development department at the Reading Innovation Centre. You’ll collaborate with project teams, taking ownership of real-life projects that directly impact our business.
Our partnership with CSR, the UK’s leading training provider for science and healthcare apprenticeships, ensures you receive top-notch education and support throughout your journey.
What to Expect:
* Work in regulated laboratory environments, adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.
* Learn scientific techniques to measure product performance, stability, and safety, supporting the entire product cycle from innovation to launch.
* Analyze data from testing, identify trends, report findings, and apply scientific methods to solve problems.
* Create and formulate chemistries for grooming and beauty care routines for our top brands.
* Plan and conduct laboratory-based investigations and experiments using specialized techniques.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and effectively communicate scientific information.
Note: You’ll be on-site at our Reading R&D Centre for 4 days a week for hands-on learning. One day a week will be dedicated to online vocational learning towards your BTEC Level 5 HND, with some practical elements at Millennium Point, Birmingham. P&G will cover travel expenses to Birmingham in line with our Travel & Expenses Policy.

What We Look For:
* Education: 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) including Math, English, and Double Science PLUS A level or equivalent in a Science subject (Grade C or above). Please include predicted grades if actual grades are not available.
