GCP Platform Engineer
Wipro is looking for a GCP Platform Engineer to join our dynamic cloud team. As a GCP Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and automation within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with developers, security teams, and site reliability engineers (SREs) to enhance cloud reliability.

Your Responsibilities
As a GCP Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and managing GCP environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
* Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation tools.
* Monitoring cloud performance, optimizing resources, and reducing costs.
* Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient cloud deployments.
* Collaborating with developers, security teams, and SREs to enhance cloud reliability.
* Troubleshooting cloud platform issues and driving improvements.
Mandatory Skills
You need to have a solid understanding of:
* Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, IAM).
* Proficiency in Terraform, CI/CD automation, and cloud networking.
* Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with cloud security and compliance standards.
* Ability to troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in cloud environments.
Desirable Skills
Ideally, you will be familiar with:
* Microservices, MQ, and APIs.
* Real-time messaging and batch file transfer implementation.
* Java EE (J2EE), SQL, Unix/Linux, MQ, WebSphere.
