Looking to make a real difference in the classroom, every single day?
We’re working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Redbridge who are looking for confident and committed KS2 Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
In this role, you’ll be supporting older primary pupils as they build key skills and prepare for the next stage of their education. It’s a brilliant opportunity to play a hands-on role in boosting confidence, strengthening learning, and helping pupils reach those all-important milestones.
If you enjoy supporting learning, asking the right questions, and seeing those lightbulb moments land, this could be right up your street.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils across KS2 with day-to-day classroom learning
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and structured lessons
• Leading small group interventions in Reading, Writing and Maths
• Providing targeted 1:1 support to pupils who need extra guidance
• Helping pupils stay focused, motivated, and ready to learn
• Encouraging independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will be:
• Confident working with KS2 pupils, experience is helpful but not essential
• Proactive, reliable and ready to get stuck in
• A clear communicator who can explain concepts in a simple, engaging way
• Adaptable and calm in a busy classroom environment
• Passionate about supporting children as they prepare for secondary school
