Overview of the role
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team, initially until the end of the school year. A strong, existing HLTA would be considered. We are a caring and supportive, two-form entry Catholic school in Southchurch. We are looking for:
* an enthusiastic and motivated person who has experience of working in a school
* an excellent team worker who can be flexible when needed
* proactive, skilled adults who can interact with pupils and support their development with love and care
* for existing HLTAs, someone who is confident teaching a whole class of children and is able to be flexible and adaptable
* a person who reflects on their practice and aims to explore ways of improving
* someone to support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at helping pupils achieve their full potential in all areas of learning
* contribution to the planning of differentiated learning activities for individuals, delivering activities inside or outside the classroom
* somebody who is happy to support the loving, Christian ethos of the school
