Pay: £85 – £100 per day

We are currently seeking compassionate and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils within specialist and mainstream settings across the Chichester area. This is one of the fastest-growing areas within education and an incredibly rewarding opportunity for those passionate about inclusion and emotional wellbeing.
You will support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them build confidence, independence and positive relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs
• Building positive and trusting relationships
• Assisting with classroom learning and engagement
• Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Promoting positive behaviour strategies
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
• Encouraging confidence, resilience and independence
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or young people desirable
• Patient, calm and resilient nature
• Passion for SEND and inclusion
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships
• Adaptable and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
