Job Opening: Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent in London, Heathrow
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent based in London, Heathrow. You will be part of the ticketing team, responsible for ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and surpassing annual revenue targets. Your role involves understanding customer needs, helping plan itineraries, and managing reservations, including cancellations and changes. You will promote teamwork and consistent service to uphold Qatar Airways' renowned 5-star standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling customer requirements professionally to ensure minimal complaints.
* Supporting travel agents with seat confirmations and VIP booking/ticketing queries.
* Resolving complex reservation and ticketing issues for staff and customers daily.
* Arranging reservations and routing for passengers using the Amadeus system.
* Issuing tickets and quoting accurate fares.
* Managing passenger space inventory and maintaining computerized records.
* Minimizing customer waiting times to two minutes.
* Preparing staff rosters for optimal manpower distribution.
* Guiding and updating staff on industry changes and Qatar Airways products/services.
* Investigating complaints to identify and address weak areas.
* Ensuring work quality, meeting airline standards, and motivating staff for daily positive contributions.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* An IATA or Airline Advanced Passenger Tariff and Pricing Course certification.
* Thorough knowledge of special rates, offers, and promotions.
* Strong experience in a ticketing environment.
* Experience working in a fast-paced customer service setting.
* Proven problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ability to adhere to management policies and target sales to maximize revenue.
* Willingness to work shifts.
* Experience with the Amadeus system.
