Job Description
Responsibilities for the Operations Manager include:
1. Promote a Safety‑First culture and lead safety walks, audits, and committee participation.
2. Oversee all production activities to ensure on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
3. Coach and develop operations staff, building a culture of planning, accountability, and ownership.
4. Lead capacity planning, productivity improvements, and process‑capability initiatives.
5. Drive continuous‑improvement programs, maintenance strategies, and proactive operational practices.
6. Track and report site metrics, identify trends, and communicate performance insights to leadership.
7. Maintain strong, visible leadership by spending significant time on the production floor.
8. Collaborate with HR, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to achieve site and business objectives.
9. Support budgeting for operations, maintenance, staffing, and equipment needs.
10. Utilize ERP/MRP systems for planning, scheduling, and operational alignment.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Operations Manager should have:
11. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
12. 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations.
13. Demonstrated success leading production teams and managing manufacturing performance.
14. Experience with continuous‑improvement initiatives; kaizen experience a plus.
15. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
16. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
17. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and resolve operational challenges.
18. Comfortable with physical elements of a manufacturing environment (standing, lifting, etc.).
