This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of planned investment and major works programmes across our homes, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with residents at the heart of every decision.Youll work closely with contractors, consultants, residents, and internal teams to deliver high-quality improvements that enhance homes and communities. We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.What youll be doingManage planned investment and major works programmes from inception through to completionWork closely with residents, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered with excellent customer service throughoutOversee contractor performance, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standardCarry out pre- and post-inspections, ensuring quality and compliance across programmesPrepare and review specifications, estimates, tender documentation, and contract informationBuild strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external partnersMonitor budgets, cost plans, and financial performance to ensure value for moneyResolve issues quickly and proactively, keeping projects moving and residents informedSupport continuous improvement by identifying smarter and more efficient ways of workingPromote health and safety compliance across all projects and site activitiesLead with a positive, collaborative approach that supports team success and high performanceWhat were looking for:Wed love to hear from you if you:Have experience delivering planned works, stock improvement, or major works programmes within housing or residential propertyHave experience managing contractors and long-term maintenance contractsUnderstand pre- and post-contract project management processesAre confident managing budgets, cost plans, and financial performanceHave strong communication and stakeholder management skillsAre organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at onceCan build positive relationships with residents and always keep customer experience in mindHave experience using asset management or planned maintenance systems such as Keystone (desirable)Hold a relevant qualification in surveying, construction, or building, or can demonstrate equivalent experienceIdeally hold or are working towards a professional qualification with RICS or CIOBHold a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (desirable)If specific qualifications are required, please upload them with your application to demonstrate your eligibility.At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability.
