Futures are looking to appoint an Electrical Technician for a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing business with a strong reputation for long-term staff retention, investment in training, and a supportive team culture. The company designs and manufactures bespoke devices and is going through a period of continued growth. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join the production team, responsible for the wiring and assembly of electrical control panels using schematic and wiring drawings. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a high-throughput manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Key Responsibilities Wire and assemble electrical control panels from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Install components such as PLCs, relays, contactors, drives, power supplies, and terminals Carry out point-to-point wiring, trunking, and panel layout to agreed standards Perform basic electrical testing and fault-finding during build Ensure all work complies with electrical and safety standards Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet build schedules Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area Key Requirements Proven experience wiring industrial control panels in a manufacturing or engineering environment Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship / NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) preferred
