About the role:
You will ensure that our commercial fleet remains legal and compliant at all times and that VOR and cost KPI’s are achieved, whilst working with key operational and support stakeholders to deliver customer service standards / KPI’s and best practice. You will be key to ensuring compliance toward operator license obligations are met and reducing the risk of non-conformances ensuring that the company “o” Licence is not compromised business
You will be accountable for:
1. Provide costs for accident damage repairs and reclaiming other costs from external agencies
2. Coordination of vehicles, Vans, and trailers to manage deployments to other depots, hubs & external suppliers.
3. Assist the Fleet and Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance with all legal, safety and ‘O’ Licence requirements at all times
4. Ensure all fleet documentation is kept for the legally required time frame
5. Ensure that all repairs are tracked for costing and analysis
6. Ensure the workshop is communicated with regularly to keep fleet repair times to a minimum and assist the Transport Department in maximising fleet availability
7. Updating company trackers with services and MOTs completed.
8. Tracking and Tracing company assets for services/MOTs.
Knowledge and Experience :
9. Experience of large commercial fleet administration in a busy organisation
10. A good knowledge of all legislation associated with Transport, including Tachograph regulations, WTD and EU Transport Legislation
11. Experience of fleet compliance in respect of VOSA requirements and ‘O’ licence adherence
12. Knowledge of service scheduling within a large commercial fleet
13. Understanding of auditing processes within a retail organisation
14. Computer proficient; Word, Excel, Access database and documents
