Through our strong working relationships with our partner schools, we are able to bring a variety of opportunities to our staff, and are looking to appoint a number of HLTAs for uing roles.The Role
The role of HLTA is a varied one, with duties including;
1. Supporting young people within a classroom setting
2. Providing support to the class teacher and deliver/lead engaging lessons
3. 1:1 support for students identified as having additional learning needs
4. Promoting an inclusive learning environment, modelling the ideal behaviours
5. Preparing classroom resources
6. Assisting with extra-curricular activities and school trips
About You
The ideal candidates for these roles would:
7. Have relevant experience of a minimum of 20 days in the last two years within a classroom
8. Hold a recognised higher level teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
9. Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and dedication to their role
10. Possess key soft skills such as empathy,passion, patience and passion for education
11. Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
