Job Title: Registered Care Home Manager Location: Crowborough, East Sussex Care Home Size: 40-bed residential care home Hours: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead our clients 40-bed care home in Crowborough. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, with a particular focus on elderly and dementia care. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, and driving the delivery of person-centred care. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home, including staffing, budgets, and operations. Ensure high-quality care is delivered to all residents in line with their individual care plans. Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and training. Monitor and improve quality standards through audits, feedback, and performance reviews. Manage admissions, assessments, and care planning for new and existing residents. Act as the registered manager, maintaining up-to-date records and submitting reports as required. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders. Requirements: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent). Previous experience (2-3 years) managing a care home. Experience as a CQC registered manager. Strong background in elderly care, including dementia care. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work proactively, maintaining high standards of care and compliance.
