Job Description
As a Facilities Coordinator, You'll be working within a proactive team overseeing the running of the Distribution Centre to support the values of Rexel to deliver the best experience to all visitors and users of the site.
The role includes preparation and management of all onsite meetings and facilities, managing waste segregation and removal promoting recycling and reusing packaging and other environmental improvements within the Distribution Centre.
Role Responsibilities:
Warehouse
* Waste management including the maintenance and checks of the baling machines.
* Maintaining the relationship with all contractors via warranty and through maintenance contractors moving forward
* Inspecting and identifying yard, car park and ground maintenance concerns and monitoring completion of identified issues.
Office and canteen
* Coordinate the relationship with the cleaning provider and ensuring standards are maintained.
* Ensure office space standards are maintained and visited daily to identify any issues and arrange prompt remedial action.
* Ensure all coffee machines are in working order and are replenished when required.
* Liaising with General Manager to ensure all new colleagues are issued with fit for purpose uniform and PPE relevant to role.
Meeting rooms
* Ensure facilities on site are available for use and in full working order.
* Check and maintain all outlook meeting room calendars, liaising with security/reception.
* Identify and react to issues on site in a timely manner and escalating when required.
* Support visitors to arrange lunches and suitable meeting/hot desk locations.
Other duties
* Deal with contractors on site, requestion quotations for remedial activities.
* Complete daily site inspections and replenish items as required.
* Escalate all health and safety concerns to Line Manager for action.

What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in facilities/Office coordination to include resource management, vendor management and organising planned maintenance.
* Working with vendors, visitors, and colleagues to support business needs.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Strong & accurate administration skills along with MS Office – Excel and PowerPoint
