We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Tactical Maintenance and Investment team, helping to drive operational efficiency and sustainability across our regional assets.

What you'll do
You will be responsible for identifying and delivering operational optimisation projects across our water recycling centres. Working closely with operational teams, engineers, and commercial colleagues, your goal will be to improve efficiency while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
You will collaborate with stakeholders including EM&I, Operations, Science, Health and Safety, Innovation, Engineering, and others to ensure practical, safe, and valuable solutions. An active on-site presence is essential to meet safety, quality, and programme requirements.
Additionally, you will:
* Manage programmes for optimisation projects, exploring all avenues to maximise output and savings on OPEX
* Review and replicate successful delivery models across assets to maximize savings
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure installations are maintainable and operational
* Analyze data to produce reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
* Engage with stakeholders across the company to foster collaboration
* Represent water recycling at technical forums and provide data-driven feedback
* Work with asset management teams to enhance maintenance strategies using lessons learned and data
* Manage projects from scoping to delivery
What you'll need
You should have a background in engineering, operations, or asset optimisation with experience managing technical projects. Knowledge of water recycling industry practices is advantageous.
You must be safety-conscious, commercially aware, and capable of cross-departmental collaboration to improve assets.
Additionally, you will have:
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
* Experience in operational or engineering environments
Experience with ICA (Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) systems is highly beneficial, supporting data-driven, smart optimisation projects for sustainable improvements.
This role is regionally based, involving office and site work across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, and surrounding areas. We welcome applications from candidates within these locations.
