As a Driver - Care Assistant, you’ll be a key member of our team—not only providing hands-on care and support, but also helping transport residents to and from the home using our on-site minibus. This is a varied and fulfilling role that combines compassionate care with safe, responsible driving. You'll help residents start and end their days with comfort and dignity. Daily Support: Assist residents with their routines—dressing, mobility, personal care—always promoting independence and choice. Health Monitoring: Keep an eye on residents' wellbeing, reporting any changes to the nursing team and liaising with families or professionals as needed. Maintaining Dignity: Provide kind, respectful care that honours each resident’s individual needs and preferences. Creating Community: Help build a warm, inclusive atmosphere by encouraging social engagement and connection. Contributing to Clean, Safe Spaces: Work alongside colleagues to maintain a homely, hygienic, and secure environment. Mealtime Support: Assist residents who need help with eating or hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Spreading Positivity: Bring joy to everyday interactions—your presence matters.
