We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary team, working in a Year 3 classroom. Duties as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom routines. Work with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted support, including those with additional needs. Help prepare learning materials, set up activities, and contribute to a stimulating classroom environment. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development. Assist with the assessment and recording of pupil progress under the direction of the teacher. Ideal Year 3 Teaching Assistant: Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting. A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or willingness to train. A positive, patient, and flexible attitude.
