Senior Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics
Brentwood Hospital – Permanent, Full time – Up to £45,000 (depends on experience) – 37.5 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
* Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
* Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff in compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards (e.g., CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence‑based guidelines).
* Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and supporting them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition.
* Collaborate with other clinicians within the hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
* Take charge of a theatre, co‑ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body and hold relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration.
Experience
* Experience in perioperative care with a passion for high standards, meticulous attention to detail and post‑registration experience.
* Strong team worker – focused, flexible, and motivated.
