At Claire Joster, our client a multinational company, leader in the manufacturing and commercialization of industrial and automotive components, needs to fill a Senior Sales Representative position in the West Midlands UK.
Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Representative, who will be working as a part of the sales team responsible for UK. He will be focused on building and maintaining relationships with key customers as well as on new customer acquisitions.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage customer inquiries that require commercial support.
* Assist and provide technical advice and suggest solutions.
* Relationship management with existing customers: this will include sending offers, provide lead times and coordinate delivery of customer orders.
* Attract new customers in the industrial and automotive sectors through sales and marketing activities.
* Negotiate and close sales by agreeing the terms and conditions between the company and its customers.
* Record and maintenance of customer data.
* Active participation in trade fairs, in which the company participates as an exhibitor or a visitor.
* Offer after-sales support services and assist customers with application issues or claims.
* Support in the design of custom-made products - especially vital for the automotive industry.
* Preparation of practical demos at the office or at the facilities of the customer.
* Coordinate the sales process for the automotive industry, including coordination with the head quarters’ quality department for delivering PPAP, IMDS and other documents that customers could require.
* Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
Requirements
* Skills and Qualifications at least 5 years´ of experience in similar positions, in sales, marketing, or sales roles.
* Completed secondary education, ideally of technical character; a university degree is an advantage
* Willingness to work in sales of technical products
* Ability to be a contributing member of a small team Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
* Ability to travel 20%
* Diligence and focus on achieving goals Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, ERP and CRM knowledge is a plus
* Residence in the West Midlands is desirable
* Active driver
