What you will be doing.
Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Risk, you will:
1. Help to embed our Group Risk Management Framework by supportingthe delivery of Risk and Control Assessmentsand the development,enhancementandimplementation ofpolicies and procedures that keep us resilient.
2. Partner with business teamstoprovidepractical guidance on complianceandenterprise-widerisk matters, including thedevelopment of remediation plans when necessary.
3. Monitor and analyseenterprise risk data– through KRI’s, event reporting and operational losses-turning insights into action.
4. Identifytrends and opportunities to strengthen controls and align with our risk appetite.
5. Support SBF assurance reviews and internal audits, financial crime investigations and external reporting, coordinating information flow andinternalresourceallocation.
6. Deliver training and awareness activities to build a strong risk culture across the organisation.
7. Stay ahead of emerging risks throughhorizon scanning,keeping up with industry and regulatory developmentsto ensure that the full suite of potential risks affecting SBF areidentified,understoodand managed.

Skills & Strengths
8. Solid understanding ofenterprise risk management-fromidentifyingand assessing risks to managing them effectively.
9. Strong data analysis skills, able to interpret complex information and present it clearly to different audiences, including Senior Leaders.
10. Highly organised with attention to detail, and confident working independently to drive continuous improvement.
11. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor your approach to the bigger picture.
12. An ability to adapt to changing priorities, managing conflicting deadlines andable to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge & Experience
13. Familiarity with risk management tools, techniques, and practices withinfinancial services.
14. Extensive experiencein compliance, enterprise risk, or a related rolewithinfinancial services.
15. Experience preparing committee papers, reports, and policy documentation.
16. Experience inafinancial crime area within financial services is an advantage.
17. Experience in change management would be beneficial, though not essential.
