Job Summary
Supporting the Head of Building & Construction in managing construction projects for Airbus sites. The role requires coordination between project managers, site managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure delivery within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, specifications, and progress reports.
* Monitor project expenses and revenues, preparing regular financial reports to track project profitability.
* Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards throughout the construction process.
* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Coordinate project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and warranty claims.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in construction management, preferably in an industrial or aviation setting.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction management tools.
* Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed for project visits.
