The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our multidisciplinary design teams across the UK. The role will involve designing power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection systems, short circuit, overcurrent coordination, and demand studies, as well as lighting photometric modelling and technical report writing. You will work with 3D Revit MEP and develop reports and calculations.
Responsibilities
* Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection systems for building projects.
* Conduct short circuit, overcurrent coordination, and maximum demand studies.
* Perform lighting photometric modelling.
* Write technical reports.
* Use Revit MEP for 3D design.
* Develop reports and electrical calculations.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Electrical, Architectural, General or Building Services Engineering, or Engineering Science preferred; a strong Bachelor’s degree in these subjects also considered.
* Studying or have studied an IET, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course.
* Analytical and problem‑solving ability.
* Strong working knowledge of Office and ability to learn new software in a 3D design and digital automation environment.
* Enthusiasm for a career in building design with a solid understanding of electrical engineering.
* Organised approach to planning work and meeting deadlines.
* Creative and inquisitive approach to problem solving, seeking efficiencies in processes.
