* Have experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils and working with families in challenging circumstances
* Have experience of multi-agency work and an understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
* Ideally hold NVQ 3 in Care or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
Responsibilities
As a Pastoral Support Assistant you’ll help meet our young people’s emotional needs. You’ll:
* Apply high standards of care and develop programs for each individual young person
* Engage with families and coordinate planning to create a positive learning environment
* Support pupils in achieving individual goals and progress within the school setting
Qualifications
* Experience with BESD or ASD in a school or care setting
* A good listener who can motivate and work in a team
* Flexibility and strong organizational skills
