Main duties of the job
* Provide skilled assistance to clinicians and other members of the theatre
* To deliver support and care to the required standards as directed within the specific clinical
* Provide a service to all areas of the Trust where specifically related equipment or techniques are used and
* Respond positively to unplanned activities outside of normal
* Plan work in advance to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications
* Anesthetic Qualification
* Basic Life Support Course
* Immediate Life Support Course
Knowledge and Skills
* Recent experience in anaesthetics
* Willingness to undertake post registration work in specialty
* Understanding of Clinical Governance
* Experience of Audit and Research
Communication
* Competent communication skills in English
* Ability to effectively deliver sensitive / complex information to a variety of listeners
Planning and Organizing
* Ability to co-ordinate planned and unplanned activities to achieve short term goals.
* Ability to manage own time for maximum efficiency in meeting unit goals
Leadership
* Ability to co-operate within a team
* Ability to co-ordinate patient care for a small number of individuals, including a variety of services
