Supply Chain and Operations Finance Analyst (SCOFA)
Ready to make your mark in finance operations?
This is not your average finance role. This is where finance meets the factory floor, where your work has a direct impact on how we operate, produce and improve.
You’ll be the critical link between operations and insight, partnering with teams across the site to drive clarity, control and continuous improvement. If you like autonomy, accountability and real commercial influence, keep reading!
We’re Mizkan Euro. You’ve probably tasted our products more times than you think: Branston Pickle, Sarson’s Vinegar, Haywards. Now, we’re looking for someone who can help us keep the wheels turning behind the scenes.
This isn’t your typical analyst role. It’s hands-on. It’s operational. It’s for someone who wants to understand the factory floor and translate what’s happening in real time into financial clarity and decision-making.
What will be doing?
You’ll be the financial compass for our Middleton site, tracking cost variances, supporting new product launches, analysing stock and yield, preparing reports that help us see the wood for the trees.
You’ll be our go-to for CapEx, financial controls and everything from daily KPIs to monthly budgeting. But most importantly, you’ll be helping us shape structure, clarity and collaboration across the team.
We\'re documenting everything, embedding smarter processes and making sure knowledge doesn’t sit with just one person - You’ll play a big role in that evolution.
What kind of person will thrive here?
* You’re not afraid to try; and you’re not afraid to raise your hand when something’s not working.
* You might not have all the manufacturing experience yet, but you love understanding how things work and connecting data to what you see.
* You’ve got a solid finance background and either part-qualified or actively studying (CIMA/AAT/ACCA).
* You’re a go-getter, not afraid to challenge, collaborate, or bring a fresh pair of eyes.
Whether you’re coming from a site role or stepping into manufacturing for the first time, what matters is attitude, initiative, and a genuine curiosity to learn and improve.
The team you\'ll join
* A close-knit finance team of three across multiple sites, each supporting one another.
* No “that\'s not my job” attitudes here. We\'re building a culture of cover, clarity, and collaboration.
* Your manager values transparency, flexibility, and your input. You’ll be empowered to suggest improvements and own your space.
What\'s in it for you?
* A development path toward Site Accountant or Manufacturing Finance leadership.
* First-hand mentoring from seasoned professionals for example a qualified accountant turned Factory Manager; proof that we invest in progression and cross-functional moves.
* A well-balanced workplace, we start early, finish early on Fridays, and respect downtime.
* A company known for its low turnover and internal opportunities, many join Mizkan and build long-term careers here.
