Maintenance Electrician
Cauldon, Stoke on Trent
Starting Salary: £52,000 p/a (£55,500 after training)
Shift Rota: 37.5 hours per week, rotating 12-hour days and nights, plus 8-hour days

This site in Cauldon produces cement and lime products sold to builders' merchants such as EH Smiths, Wicks, and B&Q. The engineering department comprises over 60 qualified professionals, offering excellent training, job security, and a positive working environment.
Machinery List: Rolling mill, kilns, conveyors, robots (Fanuc, ABB & Cougar), mixing tanks, holding hoppers, drying systems, pumps, weighing systems, vision inspection, bagging machines, shrink wrappers, and palletisers.
The Role: Maintenance Electrician
PLC Systems: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
* Maintenance and installation of a wide range of LV/HV equipment.
* Fault finding using PLCs, multimeters, and schematic diagrams.
* Resolving breakdowns, repairing machinery, and replacing electrical components.
* PPM maintenance and routine inspections.
Entry Requirements:
* Qualifications: City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or Installation, preferably via a recognized apprenticeship.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally in heavy industry sectors such as aggregates, quarrying, or recycling, though not essential.
