SEN Teaching Assistants & 1:1 Support - Newport

We are currently recruiting caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Support Staff to work across a welcoming network of schools in Newport. These roles are based within specialist learning resource bases and mainstream settings, supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping children build confidence, independence, and engagement in their learning within a safe and structured environment.
Your role:
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with ALN
Assist with tailored learning activities and classroom adaptations
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Help create a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning spaceWhat we're looking for:
Experience supporting children with ALN (school, care, or youth settings considered)
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
EWC registration (or willingness to register)What we offer:
