About the Role & the Team

This role will provide an opportunity to perform all operational procurement, data integrity and inventory management activities to meet shipment deadlines. This is a customer and supplier facing role and as such requires a confident communicator to manage priorities actively and ensure customers are kept updated at all times.
This role will be based at our Doncaster site and predominantly office based.
Role Overview
* Daily review and action of MRP messages, supplier orders, cancellations and expediting activities inline with KPI’s and objectives.
* Review due and overdue deliveries to confirm timescales or re-date appropriately, capturing and sharing any risks identified with relevant stakeholders.
* Active maintenance of the material master data to maintain accurate levels based on planned volume, manage material obsolescence and new product introduction.
* Liaise with the Warehouse Teams regarding any stock queries and manage supplier conformance around on time delivery and quality.
* Working closely with the Project Managers and Sales Team to agree project material timescales and regular updates of challenges and risks where identified.
* Work closely with the Supply Only Sales Team to update them on progress/delays with sales orders.
* Navision subject experts to manage the flow of material from ordering to posting ready for shipment / collection.
* Manage the release of demand to the purchase MRP environment.
* Management of the Warehouse cycle count process in regards to item selection, frequency, investigations, related adjustment and approvals.
* Adjust stock levels as and when required, tracking trends to identify issues and implement controls.
* Work closely with the Procurement Team regarding any pricing and sourcing queries.
* Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities and tracking of savings achieved or forecast.
* Management of van replenishment activities.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships including SLA management to secure the best possible service levels challenging and recording non-conformance.
* Create opportunities to improve the supply by working with suppliers to identify and develop innovative ideas, agreements and improved flow.
* Purchase, support and activities for all none stocked approved items.
* Undertake other reasonable duties as required in which you adequately trained to carry out

* Navision or similar MRP experience
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work and ways of working

* Experience in managing own work load, prioritisation and multitasking and working as part of a team.
* Use of Microsoft Navision
* Experience of working in the perimeter protection industry
