About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a busy Duty and Assessment Team in Rochdale.
In this role, you will support the team by completing Child and Family Assessments, ensuring timely and effective decision-making. You will play a key role in determining next steps for children and families—either stepping cases down or transferring them to the Family Support and Protection teams where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete Child and Family Assessments within required timescales
* Work within a fast-paced Duty environment managing incoming cases
* Make informed decisions to step cases down or progress to longer-term teams
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
