Finance Administrator
Salary: GBP12.50 GBP15.00 per hour
Location: Syston, Leicester (office-based)
We are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Administrator / Admin Assistant to support a busy finance team. This is a hands-on role where you will be the first point of contact for incoming communications, ensuring everything is routed quickly and efficiently to the right place.
Responsibilities
* Triage and route incoming emails, including invoices, supplier statements and queries.
* Answer incoming phone calls from both internal and external contacts, resolving or directing queries as appropriate.
* Open, sort and distribute incoming mail, ensuring important mail is highlighted to the appropriate person.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to communications, offering updates where needed.
* Contribute to the smooth running of the finance function by supporting the implementation of a clean desk policy and improved processes.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to triage and prioritise communications effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach, with the initiative to take ownership of the role.
* Previous experience in finance administration, accounts payable/receivable, or a busy office administration environment is preferred.
