Head of Home Delivery and Installation Luton We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our "Big & Bulky" category, encompassing the strategic development, operational execution, and overall growth of our large and oversized product offerings. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer experience and optimising logistics for these unique product segments. What You'll Do * Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Big & Bulky category, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, and customer service initiatives. * Lead and manage a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. * Oversee the end-to-end operational efficiency for Big & Bulky products, from supplier management and warehousing to last-mile delivery and installation services. * Identify and implement best practices for inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization specifically tailored for large items. * Collaborate closely with supply chain, technology, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of Big & Bulky initiatives. * Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and address challenges within the category. * Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Big & Bulky category, regularly reporting on performance and making data-driven adjustments. * Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and service partners to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality service. * Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction for Big & Bulky purchases, including delivery experience and after-sales support. About You * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred. * Experience in e-commerce, retail, or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large product categories or complex logistics operations. * Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a "Big & Bulky" or similar large-item category. * Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery challenges specific to oversized products. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations. * Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
