An expanding and highly successful corporate finance team and chartered accountancy practice based in Exeter is looking to bolster its team with the addition of an experienced Corporate Finance Manager as a result of growth where you will carve an influential role and progress in your career.
Overview
The firm is growing, with plans for future expansion and you will be a key addition to the team, working on wide ranging deals based in their Exeter offices. You will work closely alongside directors as a key right hand support and take on the management and delivery of projects throughout the deal process, from initial client meetings and deal structuring through to completion. The role is client facing and involves building relationships with clients, understanding drivers and what clients are looking for, with a real understanding of business transactions.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver on wide ranging project work across transaction support, due diligence, modelling, valuations, lead advisory and business development.
* Manage and deliver on the deal process: initial client meetings, deal structuring, financial modelling and plans, proposals, due diligence, and valuations.
* Support fund raising and see projects through to deal completion; produce cash flow forecasts and budgets for input into valuations and viability assessments.
* Guide clients through the technical aspects of business transactions and provide client-facing advisory support.
* Engage in mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management buy-outs, restructuring/refinancing, grant applications and valuations work.
Profile / Qualifications
* ACCA, ACA, CF qualified, or equivalent; background in an accountancy practice (Top 4, Top Ten, Mid Tier, Top 50 or independent firms) or boutique corporate finance environment.
* Up to 1–2 years, or considerably more post-qualified experience; range of experience levels considered up to Corporate Finance Manager.
* Strong desire to progress and take on an influential, key position within a growing firm.
Job Offer
* Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 plus benefits.
