Overview
Metal Finisher — Location: Dunstable. Shifts: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 16:30. Salary: £19.00 - £21.00ph DOE. Benefits include life assurance, progression opportunities, company quarterly away days, and a progressive and supportive working environment.
We're looking for a productive and hard-working Metal Finisher to join a fast-paced architectural fabrication company based near Luton. The ideal candidate will have experience polishing metals like aluminium and stainless steel to a mirror finish. Experience on commercial projects and architectural fabrication is essential. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
* Polishing on aluminium beams and panels
* Polishing/finishing all metal products - aluminium and stainless steel
* Architectural fabrication - balustrades, railings, panels, staircases, etc.
* Working in a well organised workshop with a productive team
* Working with grinders, presses, brazing machines, etc.
* Working with stainless, mild steel but mainly aluminium
Experience and Qualifications
* Polishing & finishing metal fabrication work
* Experience with burnishers, grinders and all other metal polishing machinery
* Architectural fabrication experience - balustrades, railings, panels, staircases, etc.
* Experience on commercial metal fabrication projects
* Candidates need to have experience polishing aluminium, stainless and mild steel
* Candidates will ideally have experience working with architectural fabrication - balustrades, staircases, beams, panels, etc.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Works well as part of a team
* Can be highly productive, efficient and proactive at all times
