Support Workers Make a Meaningful Difference in Great Holm and Crownhill, Milton Keynes Full-time and Part-time Roles Available At MacIntyre, we believe in the power of connection and the importance of helping people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live full, meaningful lives at the heart of their communities. We are now looking for kind, caring and committed Support Workers to join our teams in Great Holm and Crownhill. About the Roles Each of our locations is unique, but what they share is a welcoming, supportive environment where no one is ever on their own. In Great Holm, you ll be supporting people who live across 16 self-contained flats. Some live independently, while others share with friends, and all enjoy a good social life with plenty of fun and laughter. In Crownhill, you ll be part of a small, close-knit team in a comfortable and relaxed setting where building genuine relationships is at the heart of what we do. Whether you re helping someone plan a special day out, enjoy time in the garden, or attend a medical appointment, every day is different. You ll support people with daily routines such as personal care, meals and household tasks, while encouraging independence and choice at every step. Some of the people we support do not use words to communicate, so we listen closely with patience and understanding, building trust and meaningful connections. What We re Looking For You don t need experience to apply. If you are patient, enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn, we ll give you all the training and guidance you need to feel confident in your role. You ll need: A kind and compassionate nature Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude A sense of fun and creativity A full UK driving licence (manual required for Crownhill; manual or automatic is fine for Great Holm) An interest in health and wellbeing is a bonus, especially as some of the people we support are older, but most of all we are looking for people who genuinely care. Working Hours Shifts are on a rota basis and include mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Typical shifts run from 7.30 to 15.00 or 14.30 to 22.00. Sleep-ins are also part of the role and are worked around once a week, paid at 60 per sleep-in. We are recruiting for both full-time and part-time roles. Part-time hours are a minimum of three shifts per week (22.5 hours), plus a sleep-in. Why join MacIntyre? A friendly, supportive team where you are truly valued Full training and continued support from your manager and experienced colleagues The chance to make a real difference in someone s life An inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and welcomes everyone If you re ready to help people live their lives their way, one meaningful day at a time, we d love to hear from you.
