Job Summary:
To provide a wide range of administrative support across three sites - Addlestone, Guildford and Woking. As an Administrator youwillenhance the smooth running of the Corps and release Corps Officers to focus on delivering mission and provision of pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a professional, timely and comprehensive admin support service to Corps Officers and Local Officers as needed.Ensure that essential Corps records and systems are maintained and up to date.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
1. Previous experience of working successfully in a similar administration role within a busy and varied work environment
2. Experience of drafting documents, booking meetings, collecting, and inputting data, managing email inboxes, acknowledging, and responding to general queries, and processing documents
3. Good communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to develop successful and collaborative working relationships
4. Ability to plan, organise and prioritise your tasks to effectively meet objectives to the expected quality standards and time scales with minimal supervision
5. Prior experience of using all Microsoft packages including Teams
6. Educated to NVQ level 2 with 5 GCSE (A-C) or equivalent experience
7. The ability and willingness to work within, be empathic with and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission
Please note: It is essential that you are able to travel around the Division as needed, holding a current driving licence with access to a vehicle.
